Zarif meets Pakistani, Belarusian outgoing ambs.

TEHRAN, Jun. 20 (MNA) – Iran’s Javad Zarif has received Pakistani and Belarusian outgoing ambassadors in their farewell meeting before departing to their respective countries.

Pakistan’s former ambassador to Tehran Noor Mohammad Jadmani was the first outgoing ambassador meeting with Zarif in his ultimate session as ambassador. They discussed the latest developments in Iran-Pakistan relations; “Tehran and Islamabad have been enjoying strategic ties which contribute to more extended bilateral relations; we hope to see more active banking activity through measures taken to accelerate the pace of bringing reforms to banking system,” Zarif told the meeting. “We see no restrictions to bilateral relations and appreciate Pakistan’s ambassador’s good offices during his term in embassy to make positive changes, and would welcome Pakistan’s new incoming ambassador.”

Mr. Jadmani for his part believed that President Rouhani’s official visit to Pakistan early 2016 depicted new vistas in improving bilateral ties in political, cultural, and economic sections; “as to the activating the dormant banking transactions, we hope to see concrete change coming to both countries’ banking system by regular contacts and negotiations between two sides,” he added.

Rybak Viktor, Belarussian outgoing ambassador was second to meet Zarif on Monday as his last such meeting, where he told Zarif that Iran’s minister of science, research and technology upcoming visit to Minsk would promote bilateral ties to new levels; Zarif believed that Mr. Viktor’s term had been constructive to bilateral ties and expressed hope that he could continue this level of effectiveness in Minsk as well to bring improvements to relations with Tehran; “Belarusia had had  a conduct favorable to Iran during nuclear negotiations with western powers, which will be considered in Tehran’s strategic foreign policy architecture,” he told the meeting.

Mr. Viktor for his part presented a summary of measures taken by himself during his term as ambassador; “consular contacts and exchanges were highly facilitated along with 13 joint economic commissions which extended ties to new heights,” he concluded.
